Hey everybody, today I will talking about the Paraguayan flag. The first time Paraguay used red, white, and blue was when they went to defend Buenos Aires, when Britain was invading them. The earliest recorded date of Paraguay using a tri-colour flag was August 15, 1812. On one side of the flag they had the arms of Ausincion, and the arms of the king of Spain on the other side. The colours on the flag all have different meanings. Red stands for patriotism, heroism, and justice. White stands for peace and purity. Blue stands for love and liberty. The Paraguayan flag wasn't completely described until 1842. Before 1842, Paraguay had many different variations of flags. Dr. Francia modified the Paraguayan flag, and that flag was used till after his death. The Paraguayan flag has had three main colours, red, white, and blue, since 1806 when the troops used them. well there you go, now you have some insight to Paraguay's flag.
